Jim Sandefur III sends these photos showing his 'nearly new' and unspoilt Buick. "This is a 1931 66S Buick with 47,000 actual miles. It has sit in a garage since 1974. We are only the third owner, with our brother in law having owned it since 1972. Master Antique mechanic, William (Bill) Anderson, of Berryville, VA is the one to get it running. My wife and I will be driving it to pre-war car events, exposing our grandchildren to the good old days of riding in a Classic (to us). I'm also taking my wife to dinner for our 50th Anniversary, crossing White's Ferry (built in civil war) to have dinner on the other side. We are happy to start enjoying driving it, as I got goose bumps when I first drove it. Will we ever sell it? Well, that all depends on a number of things." |
