Bill Coates sends a photo which seems a nice small veteran club meeting: "I found a picture in a junk shop which I find very interesting. I know the place (Tenterden, Kent, UK) but I'm unsure of the car identities or the occasion."

Well Bill,  we're sure todays visitors will cough up the right name in no time. We ourselves are intrigued to learn in which era the photo was made.  The White Lion, didn't open 'yesterday' as you can see at another photo, when it was still an Inland Revenue Office and Posting House. We couldn't find when the gas lantern in front of the Hotel disappeared in order to give a better dating of the photo. We found another undated picture with the lantern still there. In a painting dated 1970 it seems to have made place for a White Lion ad sign. So we presume the photo was made earlier. Fifties? Fourtees? Thirties? Twenties? Tens? May we hear your bid or well educated guess. We ourselves like to make a bold statement saying RAC meeting around 1916.
