Ah... the open road. Wind in your hair, no mudguards, loud exhaust and good friends in front and behind. Fabian Gallucci has sent us some pictures of cars enjoying the roads of Argentina. The poster announces the 2015 Gran Premio Argentino de Baquets route from Buenos Aires to Patagonia from 12 to 21 September and the rules can be found HERE. (Online translation). We like their attention to detail: "...Body paint: They are not allowed pearly or metallic paints. The vehicle must imitate aspect of general features, and look reminiscent of what used in this historical category at the time." The cars built by this wonderful band of enthusiasts vary from basic Model A Fords to beautiful masterpieces of engineering. If you get stuck, your mates are quick with the tow rope and everybody can get back to enjoying the road trip following a route through fabulous scenery. For more information go to the website.
