Amsterdam based PreWarCar and PostWarClassic are facing difficult times. As per today Dutch government has put into effect a new set of rules for advertising media. One of these rules is that we may no longer allowed wrecks in adverts (either due to accident or long time of non-use). We received notice to close down the pre-war section 'Barnfind cars for sale' and the post-war section 'Project cars for sale' within 5 business days. The reasoning behind this ridiculous rule - primarily set up for much more modern vehicles - is safety and environment: wrecks should be scrapped so that especially these can no longer be restored and thus prevent future safety and pollution. Of course we do not agree with bizarre rule that has been forced upon us without any form of consultation. This will seriously affect the existence, even survival, of our two websites, not to mention the hobby in general. Thus we need your help! Let us know you don't agree and send us your protest! We will collect them and offer them to the government.
