Karel Vermeer is a regular photo contributor (both pre-war and post-war) with cars he spots on his many journeys in France. This time he sent a few samples of his early photos: "I have been taken picture's of old cars since 1973. The first picture is a Praga which I took in Rotterdam, 1973. (Editor: for non dutch readers, the registration ending with FH is a white on green dealer registration). The second photo is also from 1973: 'Toy on top of a petrol station'.
I think it is a Morris Eight, registered as TT-83-43. Possibly of interest to car historian Eduard Hatuma who collects car photos with early post-war registrations (of all possible combinations only a small part was used and poorly documented; so only a photo of a car with such a registration proves that this number ever existed in reality... it's a hobby). The third picture is shot outside the Autotron (museum) in Drunen in 1974, and the next two are taken at a company called 'Welcome in Ridderkerk' (1977). The last picture is showing RD-25-61, a Rover parked in The Hague."
