The last few quizzes have been (relatively) easy, so it's time for a more difficult one. Or so we think, as we have been proven wrong many times by the depth of your knowledge. The creator of this little three-seater was an engineer who is said to have invented a gyro-compass for boats and airplanes, although we could not find anything to back up this claim. He built several prototypes of light cars of which the production version is seen here. At first it had an air-cooled engine and 3-speed gearbox. Several body styles were available. Later versions had a water-cooled engine. A huge production was foreseen, yet only 270 were made in three years. Only one was exported, which made it the first of many millions of cars to be exported from its home country. What we want to hear from you is at least the name of the automobile and the name of its creator, but more information is always welcome. (The car's name was molded in the running boards, so we have taken that out.) See 'Read More' for the rules and read them carefully as we have added a new rule. Then send us your answer before Monday, July 29 by using the 'Add comment' box below. Have a great weekend and don't forget to be up at sunrise!
