What to do with a 1920s truck isn´t an easy question. They are difficult to handle, slow and usually too big for an average garage, but as you can see they have enough "charme" to please most of the prewar fans. And this was the case of this particular vehicle, a mid 1920s Latil. Around 30 years ago its past owner -an old retired trucker- gave it as a present to a collector in order to preserve it. The collector really liked the Latil, but at that time he hadn´t sufficient room inside the garage. He decided to accept the proposal and put the Latil on wooden blocks just at the entrance of his workshop. Soon he started to decorate the old truck with period glass bottles and wooden boxes... and you can see the result: a really beautiful outdoors display. In addition, the Latil is absolutely original in every point. Wings, headlights, interior equipment and the original 1920s wooden cabin, a feature usually modified in almost every old truck. And this is the tricky issue. Although the truck is located in a dry area (close to Barcelona, Spain) and has endured reasonably well the weathering, perhaps this Latil deserves a better enclosed storage or even a restoration, due its originality. As we all know, it is always up to the owner...but would you restore it?
