Remember the 1922 Franklin model 10-a V-screen Sedan - the Wind Splitter - found by Larry after 52 years in a one room school house? This was in 2013. Many of us were worried that Larry was going to apply new paint and chrome on the HPOF Franklin sedan. However he stuck to what he found and spent lots of time to get the machine going again. As you can see the engine still looks as if untouched. And now it is running yes. Not for 20 seconds. Running to get a first refill after 55 years! And now the open road is waiting again. Well done Larry, we're proud of you! Hope to see you with the car at Hershey this October. |
