Scout 1908_470_
Last Friday we showed you an edwardian mystery sports car. Frequent visitor and honorable jury member Ariejan Bos came with 1908 Scout whish seems highly probable.

He wrote: " This illustration from the little book "Scout Motors of Salisbury 1902-1921" (editor: first printed in 1965 and re-issued in 2013 but again sold out) shows in fact most of the features of the mystery photo: the broad roundish bonnet, the 5 spoke steering wheel, the oilers, the short wheel hubs at the rear and the longer ones at the front, wheels with 12 spokes both front and rear. Body and mudguards clearly are younger. The license number agrees with the date of 1907 or 1908, because it was issued early 1908.
Specifically about the 5-spoke steering wheel: Renault used these as far as I could check at least until WW1, probably also even after that for some years."

editor: anybody (in the VCC of GB) who knows about today's whereabouts of AM-916 ?
