What an abundance of information in this otherwise nearly deserted center of Agen, soutwest France. The building with clock was identified as the old Marché Couvert which was demolished in 1970. The postcard is stamped 1951 but the photo may be older of course. Parked under the ach of La Grande Fabrique, an outlet for workman's clothes we find a wonderful Type 57 Bugatti with two tone convertible coachwork and registration The car which seems to be a mid thirties Bugatti T57 Ventoux(?) Cabriolet with registration plate 8290 GA6. We understand this is from a series that came out in the Bordeaux region, period 1928-1950. Who can tell us more about the car and what may have become of it? (postcard collection Karel Vermeer)
