Calling all fans of the three-pointed star. We suggest you take a look at the digital catalogue of RM Auctions, who will have their next auction at Battersea Evolution in London on September 8 and 9 (the Beaulieu weekend!). Lots of cars, but the main attraction will be the sale of a fabulous Mercedes-Benz collection, started by an European gentleman. All in all there are 75 lots, spanning Mercedes production of eighty years. There are many post-war cars to choose from, but concentrating on the pre-wars, the range goes from (a replica of) the earliest 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen to a stately 1941 Mercedes-Benz 230 Limousine. However, we do have our personal favorites. How about the rare 1936 170H Saloon; or the tempting 1936 170V Cabriolet; or the magnificent 1936 500K Cabriolet; or the xxx? Perhaps the xxx??? Oh come on! The list seems endless. You better pick your own favorite from lots 101 to 174.
