We know there is a strong steamer following with our visitors, so we we thought this fine two cylinder FWD Italian 'car' deserves your full attention.
Owner Davide reports: "This is my 1879 Trinci steam carriage built in Pistoia, Tuscany. It has a two cylinder engine with incline slide valves and Stephenson linkcage for the reverse. It is chain driven to the front wheel and it steers with the rear wheels. The B&W photos were taken in 1959 in Montespertoli town fair near Florence. Hope to finish the restoration and have it ready to roll under own steam for the 2016 show season."
