The Russian car historian Vasily Shiska is struggling with the above issue for a long time already and is asking your help (Vasily published in russian about Leon-Bollée and about Darracq) :
"At the 1899 Paris motor show (editor: i.e. "Le Salon de l'Automobile du Cycle et des Sports"), captain Draullette presented his electric cab. In the press appeared at least 10 articles in 1899, and a patent about an electric Draullette, but there is no mention of the company Hautier. The only mention of it is in the subscript made with a typewriter in a photo album of Mr. Jules Beau. The photo shows a slightly different coachwork compared with these sketches. In documents about the Hautier company not any electric car is mentioned. Perhaps the car whown above was specially comissioned by Hautier, or is Jules Beau wrong?"
