A  most charming Edwardian runabout with coalscuttle(!)  nose. Regarding the earlier coalscuttle write up by Ariejan Bos, some of our readers didn't realise that he wrote he was presenting European coal scuttles only. So he didn't overlook Franklin etc. it's just another area of knowledge. Maybe somebody will stand up to write about the US built coal scuttle noses.

Anyway today's mystery car was once located in New Zealand. Bill Keen writes:
"I am helping with  research on Dr Emily Siedeberg, attached is a photo of her in her car outside her home and consulting rooms , in York Place Dunedin NZ. My findings so far have been  Renault  -  Siddeley  -  Clement Bayard  around 1909- 1912, but they dont seem  to be quite the same. Hoping you can solve the mystery. "

Editor:  well Bill; our feeling is that you came close, very close with Clément Bayard and that the only thing missing in your identification is the right year (1904, 1905, 1906 ?) and the exact type. We'll leave it to the experts. And while waiting for their verdict we dream away imagining to drive these Easter days that sweet little car in Dunedin, New Zealand
