Wow ! No less than 13 competitors were right in naming the right make with this rather neglected motorcar: Christian Günzel, Michael Slenger, Moritz, Jiri Schwarz, Gerd Klioba, Joseph Schmitt, Tony Presensen, Lard Göran Lindgren, Frank Sauerwald, Göran Flank, Leon Mitchell, Fedor and jurymember Anders Svenfelt..! So there must have been earlier publications regarding this quite rare make from the Markranstädter Automobil Fabrik located in - surprise - Marckranstädt, Sachsen, Germany. We receive a massive amount of interesting information regarding M.A.F. and more specific regarding the car as shown above. It seems the car is known from the Dalarna province since new and was on the road until well into the sixties of the last century. It seems vitrually impossible to correctly identify the car, but still Christian Günzel, Michael Schlenger, Joseph Schmitt and Leon Mitchell were all correct in naming the right type : D3 5/12 HP, "Doktor-Wagen for three persons. In the end we decided that the answer by Michael Schlenger was most complete and correct. Congratulations Michael, please send us your mail address and shirt size. We will send you the PreWarCar T-shirt. Need another challenge this weekend? Then check today's post-war Puzzle!
