Louise Vincent contacted us regarding the cars and business of her grandfather: Vincents coach builders of Reading. It appears they were Austin Main Agents as you can read from the group photo in front of the Reading premises. And look at the 2000th(!) AEC 'Matador' behind them. And they did more. Much more. Just a few samples are this Rolls Royce  (Phantom I ?)  Limousine, the smaller 20/25(?) Rolls coupe chauffeur and the cream Bentley drophead coupe. All of them clippings of the Vincents family album. The Benz Velo - nicknamed 'Benny' by the family - was shot during the 1927 London to Brighton with Willam Vincent at the tiller. But what happened after? Louise became interested in the family history only a short time ago and now is reaching out for help and memories, to reconstruct a pictorial history of her grandfather's firm. Can you unearthing more material which is not already on the web? Anything sent to office@prewarcar.com will be forwarded to Louise Vincent.
