Gunther Hoyt sends this unidentified car with funny history:
" (the photos was shot) About 1920 in Rothenburg ob der Tauber (above is probably pictured one of the city wall gates): my grandfather Hermann G. Schmid and his American cousin Julius Schmid, the well known condom manufacturer. I have no idea what the touring car is. Julius Schmid always drove Packard and talked my grandfather into buying one in 1926."
This car was presumably the predecessor of the Packard. The V-shaped radiator of the large tourer is pointing into the direction of one big germans built aroud 1918-1920. But yes, which one...?
