Next weekend will be about the famous London to Brighton Run. A young PreWarCar.com crew is, just like hundreds other crews, putting their last efforts into their antique machinery. Less than a week from now the normally quiet Sunday morning at Hyde Park in London will 'broadcast' the heartbeat of some 430 very very old motorcar built before 1905.
The next few days PreWarCar.com will only be about this earliest category; veteran cars. Things started already with the weekend quiz (who knows Peggy; you can send in until 23.59 hrs London time tonight). Tomorrow you can read about what cars Bonhams is offering in their London sale this Friday. Wednesday a little tech-talk about fettling a veteran car. Will you be spectator or participate with the Veteran car run next weekend, let us know in a comment below or send a picture of the car you will be driving! But probably you're far too busy to choose the right polar underwear, wellies and more. In that case look out next weekend for the young PreWarCar - startnumber 228 - team in a 1903 Bolide.
To start of the countdown, we have the very nice starting line-up above. Looks like some 'Brighton' Panhards. Can you tell what cars they are exactly?
