It's a racing car! In view of next week's show with Pre War Race Legends we thought let's test your knowledge on early racing.
At first glance this may be assumed to be a Panhard & Levassor– the radiator and Lemoine front axle seem to indicate that this is possibly the case – but it is not. It is though a French car (but not made in Paris*). There is one specific feature that makes it possible to identify the make, this being the domed unit in front of the mechanic. The rather over-long handbrake lever does provide an additional clue as to the make. As for the location, we have an idea as to where it might possibly be, but would welcome your thoughts on this. Not to encourgae you but the sender of the photo bought the picture at Rétromobile in 2000 and it took him about 5 years to identify the make! Enjoy weekend!
