Last week quiz # 364 obviously was too difficult for most of you. Only three correct answers. Two of those by jury members. Paul Linster and Frans Vrijaldenhoven. Answer number three comes - of course - from Germany. Hans Musseler of the Rosengart Museum wrote to us and gave all details: Engineer Erwin Wesnigk form Berlin built these light threewheelers from 1922 - 1926. There was a choice of a one cylinder 6HP BMW and 10 HP Kühne. The H-form chassis was made from duraluminium tubes. Three speeds connected with belt or chain to the rear wheel. Weight 195 kilos. Top speed 70 km/h. Two or three seater coachwork in duraluminium as well. The car was taxed as motorcycle and one was allowed to drive it with motorcycle license. A nearly forgotten make. Is there at least one survivor out there? Ing. Wesnigk didn't stop thinking about cars after 1926. We found drawings for a six wheeler streamlined car patented in 1935.
Radstand 1300 mm, Gewicht 195 kg, 70 km/h Geschwindigkeit .
Aufbau offen, 2-3 – sitzig aus Duraluminium.
