Last time when we were discussing names, we were talking about people named after cars. As we all know, cars are quite often named after their inventor / maker. Last week, we received the following message from Jeff Perkins, who bought a lovely Ford model A. And would like a nickname for his new car. What do you think is a good one? Please come up with your best and inventive idea. The one Jeff chooses, will receive a PreWarCar.com badge!
Jeff's message: "Last spring we sadly sold our 1929 Ford Model A Cabriolet "Miss Daisy" after a long term ownership. Due to age, knees, sore backs etc. our friends could no longer climb into her rumble seat. We needed to provide easier access to our old car for friends to join us on further adventures, hence a Touring Car was deemed to be the next logical choice. Here it is, a 1930 Ford A Standard Touring Car (purchased today!) complete with a trunk to take all the necessary refreshment, extra clothing etc needed for a day's outing. We have no name yet for our noble steed, do you have any suggestions?"
