Lesley Farley writes: "My late father, Godfrey Paddick was given the above Aston Martin 15/98 as a 21st birthday present by his rather generous father, Sidney, in either 1937 or 1938. My brothers and I  would very much like to know whether it still exists. Unfortunately this is the only photo we have, so are unable to glean what the registration number is. Our trip down memory lane would seem to have come to an abrupt halt unless there is anyone out there who knows where it is or how we may be able to trace it."

Editor: Well Lesley, you don't give us a lot to work on, the good news however is that there weren't that many Astons around in those days. So first owner was Godfrey Paddick, possibly registered at the name of Sidney Paddick. This in conjunction with a dark (green, blue, black?) bodied 1937/38 Aston Martin 15/98, should not be completely impossible to find out about. We will check with Andy Bell of Ecurie Bertelli and the Aston Martin Owners Club
