Dürkopp
Another photo popped up on the family album. This one was sent by Hein Brand. The car that we see, is probably a Dürkopp. A German car builder that started around 1899 with two-cylinder powered cars. According to the Georgano bible, Dürkopp was specialized in heavy types of touring cars. Which were based on a racing car developed for the Kaiserpreis race of 1907. This car seems to us a bit younger, let's say 1914. A tourer indeed. Earlier at prewarcar.com, a mystery was solved. The car back then was identified as probably a Dürkopp EK6. Is this the same car again? Let us know what you think it is!
