If we were given a chance to try and race this little cyclecar, would we turn our back like this young lady does? Certainly not! And we're glad to say neither does she, because here she is again. But of course you are wondering what racing car she is demonstrating here. Certainly you have heard of the small cars that the French brothers Raoul and Robert de Rovin built from 1946 until 1961 in their factory at the old Delaunay-Belleville works. But before the war they constructed and raced cyclecars and motorbikes. As far as we know Raoul and his younger brother Robert made only six cyclecars and this is one of them, so it is quite rare. Almost thirty years ago it was found in a cow pasture in Lorraine, France where it had been resting for twenty years. Fifty years on, it is still in the same condition, although today it hangs on the wall of the owners garage to save space. But we would like to know what happened to the other five Rovin Racers, are they still around? And what is their history? Can you tell us more?
