Book Review by Michael E Ware: This is the centenary year of the first production car leaving WRM Motors of Oxford, and this book gives you much of the detail behind the starting up of the company and the first cars it produced. At 192 pages this soft covered publication is definitely a book as opposed to a booklet, but at under £5 it is extraordinary value. It is packed with information, much of it new to this reviewer. It's a sort of dictionary of the people, the suppliers, the dealers, the manufacturing process, the cars themselves and the buildings involved. Its divided into some 65 entries or essays laid out in alphabetical order. This means they are all mixed up and so cannot be read chronologically. Because of the format some of the facts are repeated in different entries. This is definitely not just about 1913. Where it is appropriate the author gives a profile both before and or after that year of the subject being discussed. (continue at Read More)
