Michael Ware sends a photo that came to him from Alan Whytock. It was his grandfather's car and his mother always said it was a Daimler. Though you cannot see the front of the car the radiator surround does not look like a Daimler (check photo detail). It seems to have a hump in the top of it, rather like the Edwardian Standards, but this a bigger car than that. A lovely family grouping, with typically for the period the chauffeur standing to one side, but included all the same. Surely they did not all arrive in the one car? The costumes are terrific and even the family dog is included on the front seat. We still hope to hear what is the location, yet it looks like a Midlands(?) hilltop.
