Is it art they are selling? Is it palmtrees? Home decoration? Fashion? No we understand they are trying to sell the car and photographer Lars Plougmann took the assignment quite serious. Possibly slightly too serious. When selling a classic car - no matter what the condition is - the photos are very important. Too often we see horrible photos picturing very nice cars, parked behind an industrial building. Soemtimes still wet from a quick wash, the pool still under the car. Best is to make photos of your car every year and not on the day you (have to) decide to sell it. Make the photo session an event, it's part of the hobby. Find a nice piece of scenery or a building that fits to the style and era of your car. Better don't have your car in full sunlight. It will look better in the shade or very soft sunlight. Best is the time just before general a car looks best in the shade or just before sunrise or right after sunset. Photographers say this is 'the golden hour'. They mean to say that the light is superb. To you using the right kind of light can mean the difference between selling your car quickly or at least a lot slower... But now you've come so far, what car are they selling?
