Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

let it_snow_let_it_snow_let_it_snow_300Our Friday lady reminds us that winter is upon us and it's time to prepare for the worst. We know that many of you enjoy driving in snow, as seen in this photo album from the 2010 event '100 Miles of Amsterdam'. It's the salted slushy roads our cars don't like. It helps if you have a solid rear axle and the radiator badge says GN or Frazer Nash!

Do, please, remember there are laws to be obeyed at all times and under all conditions. Woe betide the driver who fails to keep his registration number clear of snow - as this cartoon reminds us. The artist was Charles Crombie - full name Charles Exeter Devereux Crombie - who was a successful editorial cartoonist famous for his humorous postcard cartoons 'The Rules of Golf', but there are motoring ones too. Our Friday lady doesn't care - she's just clearing the rear window because she doesn't want anyone driving into the back of her 1935 Ford 'Slantback' sedan'.
