This car may have something of a Mercedes look about it, as did quite a number of makes of this period, but it was actually built about 190 miles north of London, England. Visually it has no real distinguishing features, apart from the fuel tank serving as an integral part of the dashboard – but that cannot be seen in this view! The make’s name is an anagram of the man that financed this short-lived project, with only around a dozen cars being built. The engineer who designed it is better-known for his later work as a manufacturer of carburettors. He had previously made cars using another name, in a city in the English Midlands.
