report by Francisco Carríon: Is there anything better to find along the way than an abandoned scrapyard? Well, perhaps to know what it is what we found. The two cars have been resting outside for decades, and partly due to this they are not easily identified: no badges with the marque or model, no numbers, or any id plate on an engine... The more modern one in front (with clear remains of paint) is easier and looks like an early forties product of the Chrysler Group, but is it Dodge? or Plymouth? or maybe De Soto? Without a clear view of the grille is not easy to tell, but perhaps the interior (photo 3) can help. The second car is a true dinosaur of the 30s, and seems US made as well due to its impressive dimensions, but its bad condition again doesn't help a lot. After the dismantling of the world famous Kaufdorf yard in Switzerland people tend to think that is impossible to find abandoned classics in Europe. This scrapyard by the way is in Spain. Would you consider telling where you found some classics in the fields?
