We wouldn't show something 'trivial' as a frontaxle in this position. Yet we found the clear markings interesting and are curious which machinery was attached. Ian Waller from Australia found this - in his opinion - late veteran /early vintage front axle of a two wheel braker. "It has large RAF hubs and is stamped ' TYPE RRR, then underneath the numbers 50784.The distance between the king pins is 51” (130cm) and the track is approximately 57” (145cm). There is slotted adjustment on top of the king pins." Can you help Ian and satisfy our curiosity?
