Last Saturday Wilfried found this gearbox on a old scrapyard in Switzerland. He presumes it is Alfa Romeo, with Number 843177M, 22x39, A2X, 017. The big shifter was once modified but coud be a part of the original. He also wonders about the function of the smaller
shifter? Some type of an old Overdrive? Lenght overall without spider on back : 560 mm Bellhousing: outer diameter: 370 mm, machined diameter: 310 mm 11 holes to fit on engine. Diameter to receive Crankshaft stub: about 20 mm. Final question: whatever it is, is it pre-war?
