Frequent contributor Fer Cools from Belgium often visits antique markets and almost always comes home with an interesting find. Last Sunday he found a real treasure, a color photo of the Dutch village Tholen on one of the islands in the south-west of Holland. Fer suspects the photograph dates from the early twenties, but has no clue about the identity of the sports car on the ferry. We think it looks British, but are also not sure. Can you tell what it is?
Today there's no ferry anymore, and the view from the modern bridge shows clearly how much the village of Tholen has changed over the years. Only the two church towers are still there.
